1847 is the UK’s leading brand of vegetarian restaurants. Established in 2010, the company has grown from its initial site in Manchester and opened Birmingham in 2013 plus Bristol and Brighton in 2015. There are plans to establish more restaurants plus separate deli sites and a cookery school during 2016.
Due to this exciting growth, we’re now looking for an experienced individual to join our team. The role will be part time with flexibility to work from home and to oversee our financial systems and work closely with the company owner and MD, plus management throughout 1847.
You must be familiar with quickbooks, have passion for an exciting growth company and be able to demonstrate great communication skills to all levels of the team.
Ideally this role will be Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm. You will report directly into the owner and managing director.
Your core duties will be:
Overseeing all aspects of financial control in the business. Providing financial, commercial and strategic support to the MD and senior team.
Provide financial support to the restaurant management team Preparation of management information from quickbooks online. Be involved in Business Planning and budgeting Manage monthly payroll ensuring PAYE deadlines are met Overseeing internal financial controls including monies received and paid out plus credit card control Reviewing new & existing business models Identify and develop controls and processes to ensure all risks and opportunities are highlighted
Purchasing and stock control
Ad hoc duties as required
